REVIEWS-REVIEWS-REVIEWS:
DEAF WARRIOR, written, produced and starring Tristan Thunderbolt is an amazing independent gem of a film. In 29 minutes Thunderbolt and his radiant co-star Julie Golde take us on a beautiful and profound journey.
Thunderbolt's liner notes promise us a a change in the way we perceive deaf people. I have to admit, I was changed by this film.
The love story between the characters is captured in all its innocence, understanding, passion and warmth. DEAF WARRIOR transends the horror/action genre. This is much less a horror/action film as it is a love story. Beautiful.
Low budget. Don't expect Star Wars effects. Well edited. See this one if you have the opportunity. Cute blooper reel comes with the DVD as well.
